A Long December

Hari ini sudah memasuki tanggal 01 Januari 2009, habis sudah penantian tahun 2008 seraya teringat lirik lagu counting crows Long December, Cek This Out :

memang susah hidup di kota kecil seperti ini, untuk cari koneksi internet saja harus melakukan pencarian yang mendasar (maksudnya berbelit-belit) untuk ada Telkomsel Flash lumayan lah sedikit terobati buat posting-posting sedikit heheh.

Para pengguna telepon seluler yang telah dilengkapi dengan kemampuan Java dan telah meng-install Java virtual Machine dapat mencoba browser Opera Mini 4.1 terbaru yang diklaim produsernya, 50% lebih cepat dibandingkan versi terdahulu. Feature baru yang ditawarkan versi 4.1 antara lain URL autocomplete, mencari teks dalam setiap halaman web, melakukan proses upload (download) dalam browser, dan mengintregasikan search engine Google pada setiap halaman web.

Sony Siap Rilis Playstation 3 Seri Baru

Menurut kabar yang beredar, sony akanmeluncurkan game console generasi baru Playstation 3 pada musim gugur 2008 ini. PS batu ini berukuran slim. Kapasitas hard disk sudah ditambah menjadi 160 GB (sebelumnya 40 GB). Selain itu, untuk pertama kalinya console ini dilengkapi dengan Dual Shock 3 Controller dengan fungsi getar. Saat dikonfirmasi, Sony membantah kabar ini. Paling tidak, bukan pada musim gugur ini. Menurut Sony, mereka memang merilis sebuah Lite Edition untuk semua varian Playstation.

Dunia Maya dalam Satu Server IBM

Para Peneliti di IBM saat ini sedang mengembangkan sebuah rencana yang terdengar kurang masuk akal. Mereka berniat membuat superkomputer yang dapat menghosting seluruh internet. server yang berbasiskan superkomputer “BluGene” ini dikembangkan dengan Departemen Energi AS. Menurut para peneliti dalam proyek bernama “Kittyhawk” ini, Mega-engine ini kelak dapat menghemat biaya, ruang, dan energi. Risiko terjadinya kesalahan juga lebih berkurang.
